Family Events

Throughout the season the Community puts on events for the whole family. Our biggest is, of course, the Family Picnic in July.

We are always looking for people to host and/or help with events. If you are interested call or e-mail the office.

Easter Egg Hunt

 

Sunday, March 16th

1:00 PM

The Hoppinings:

  • Juice and coffee will be provided
  • We also ask that all participating families bring some kind of baked goods or snacks everyone to share.
  • Rain or shine we will be hunting
  • Age groups: 2 & under, 3/4, 5/6, 7/8, 9/10.

Bring your family to an afternoon of fun! Children from toddler to 10 will be hunting for eggs outside around the Clubhouse. But, whether in deep snow or green grass, the hunt is on! Make sure the kids are dressed appropriately!

The children can do some crafts inside the clubhouse as well as visit the face painting table.

We have three kinds of pancakes: plain, blueberry and chocolate chip.

Come on down to the clubhouse and enjoy some great pancakes, home fries, bacon, sausage, coffee, tea and juice.

Tailgate Party

 

Saturday, October 11th

There will be a punt, pass and kick contest for the kids on the ball field, a chili tasting contest, college football on the big screen in the clubhouse and, of course, a tailgate dinner!

Please contact Kevin (516) 739-2524 or Rich (203) 746-8308 for reservations (this will help us get an accurate headcount since many will head home shortly)

3 pm – “Punt, Pass and Kick” contest, touch football, a “bouncy castle” and other kid’s games on the ball field and college football all day on the big screen in the club house

5 pm – “Chili Tasting” contest in the clubhouse. Please bring a pot of your best chili to be judged and shared by your neighbors. Don’t forget to display and serve your chili in style. There will be prizes for the winners (best chili, best display and presentation, best dressed in the spirit of a tailgater and others). Work alone or in Teams (the more the merrier!!)

6:00 pm – “Tailgate Dinner” in the clubhouse

7:30 pm - “Golf Cart Drive in Movie” in the Clubhouse parking lot
