 The
Candlewood Knolls Children's Program is a structured recreational day camp
for children ages 3-13.
The camp is available only to Candlewood Knolls residents
or those sponsored by a Candlewood Knolls Community, Inc stockholder.
The camp is divided into 5 groups according to age, as
follows:
- 3 & 4 year olds - morning camp only
- 5 & 6 year olds
- 7 & 8 year olds
- 9 & 10 year olds
- 11 and up

Mission
To provide a safe, quality summer program, primarily for
the children of Candlewood Knolls residents, that focuses on skill and
social development through a program of traditional summer activities
including ball sports, arts & crafts, swimming, boating, camping and other
related activities.
Expectations for Campers
- All children are expected to participate in all camp
activities, daily. Those not participating in swim team should have a note
signed by a parent of guardian.
- Fighting, foul language, dangerous or disruptive
behavior WILL NOT be tolerated and may result in suspension or
expulsion from the program.
- Campers shall be respectful to all staff members as
well as to other campers at all times.
- Campers must wear sneakers during sports activities.
- Anything that comes to camp should have your family
name marked clearly with permanent marker. There is a lost and found box
in the Clubhouse next to the office. Please check it on a regular basis.
Priorities and Goals
- Provide a fun and safe environment for all
participants.
- Promote a social and athletic well-roundedness through
exposure to a variety of light competitive events, emphasizing good
sportsmanship and teamwork.
- Provide an atmosphere that encourages building
self-confidence and skill improvement.
